What steps are involved in the production process of energy-saving biomass burning pellets?

Publish Time: 2024-05-29
The production process of energy-saving biomass burning pellets is a complex process involving multiple steps, which aims to convert biomass raw materials into efficient and environmentally friendly fuel. The following are the main steps of the production process of energy-saving biomass burning pellets:

1. Raw material collection and preparation

Raw material selection: Select suitable biomass raw materials, such as crop straw, forestry waste, waste paper, etc.

Preliminary treatment: After the raw materials are transported to the production workshop, they are subjected to preliminary treatment, such as removing impurities and crushing, to ensure the smooth progress of subsequent processes.

2. Cutting and crushing

Cutting: Use a cutter to cut the raw materials into 15-20mm long needle-shaped and foam-shaped fragments.

Crushing: Use a crusher to further reduce the size of the raw materials to meet certain particle size requirements.

3. Drying

Drying: Use a dryer to dry the raw materials to remove moisture. This step is crucial to ensure the quality and combustion performance of the pellets. The moisture content of the dried raw materials is generally less than 10%-15%.

4. Pellet forming

Pressing: Through the wood chip pellet machine equipment, under the rotation of the pressing wheel and the action of the mold, the powdered material is formed into a cylindrical solid body.

Forming: The raw materials are compressed into granules under high temperature and pressure to form biomass pellets. The diameter of biomass pellets is generally 6-10 mm, and the length is 4-5 times its diameter.

5. Cooling and screening

Cooling: After the pellets leave the pellet machine, they are cooled by the cooler to reduce their temperature and remove the steam on the surface.

Screening: The pellets are screened by the screening machine to remove irregular pellets to ensure that the shape and size of the pellets are consistent.

6. Packaging and finished product storage

Weighing: The qualified biomass pellets are weighed through the pellet storage hopper.

Packaging: Enter the seam machine for packaging, and the packaged pellets are usually sent to the finished product warehouse for storage.

7. Quality control

During the entire production process, quality inspections are carried out on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products to ensure that the quality of Energy-saving biomass burning pellets meets the standards.

Through the above steps, biomass raw materials are converted into efficient and environmentally friendly energy-saving biomass burning pellets, providing a new option for energy utilization.
